R&D 100

The R&D Awards, widely recognized as the "Oscars of Innovation", identifies and celebrates the top high technology products of the year. MesoCoat Inc’s core technologies have won four R&D 100 Awards over the past decade; including the most recent award in 2011 for its disruptive high-speed large-area metal cladding technology ‘CermaClad’.


Forbes, Americas Top 100 Most Promising Companies

MesoCoat inc.’ has been ranked #50 in Forbes list of America’s Most Promising Companies. MesoCoat was ranked highest amongst four companies that represent the materials industry in the list of America’s Most Promising Companies; and is the only nanotechnology, protective coatings company on this list. Forbes' list of America's Most Promising Companies features 100 privately held up-and-comers with compelling business models, strong management teams, notable customers, strategic partners and precious investment capital.

NorTech Innovation

The annual NorTech Innovation Awards program honors the achievements of companies, entrepreneurs, universities and nonprofit organizations who have taken their creative concepts from vision to realities which are impacting our everyday lives. MesoCoat was honored as a remarkable organization twice in three years for setting new world standards for technological advancement in environmentally friendly metal coatings (PComP), and high-speed large-area metal cladding to provide up to 100 year design life for steel assets (CermaClad).

NIST TIP

MesoCoat, Inc., together with The Edison Materials Technology Center (EMTEC) and Polythermics, LLC has been awarded $1.79 million by National Institute of Standards & Technology through its Technology Innovation Program. The funds are being used to develop a novel coating technology using a high-intensity infrared light source to fuse and bond nanocomposite metal coatings and claddings to large steel structures such as bridges, oil rigs and pipelines to provide up to a 100 year design life.
